Event Staff Management:

Event organizers (vendors) may invite individuals to assist with event operations, including ticket scanning and check-in management. This section describes data collection, access permissions, and responsibilities for event staff.

Staff Invitation & Data Collection

  • Phone Number Lookup: Vendors may search for existing NoNeed users by phone number to send staff invitations. Only users with registered accounts can be invited as permanent staff.
  • Invitation Data: Staff name, phone number, assigned role, and event assignments are collected when creating invitations.
  • Event Assignments: Staff are assigned to specific events, not the vendor account as a whole. Each staff member may be assigned to multiple events with different permissions per event.
  • Scan Mode Permissions: Staff (non-managers) are assigned specific scan modes per event (main entry, addon-specific scanning). Managers automatically receive all scan modes for their assigned events.

Staff Roles & Permissions:

  • Staff (Scanner): Can scan tickets and check-in guests for assigned events only. Access is limited to assigned scan modes (main entry, specific addons).
  • Manager: Can scan tickets, manage assigned events, view analytics, and access event settings. Managers automatically receive all scan modes for their assigned events.
  • Vendors may modify staff permissions or event assignments at any time. Changes take effect immediately without prior notice to the staff member.

Web Link Access (Temporary Staff):

  • Vendors may generate temporary web links for volunteers or one-time workers who need scanner access.
  • Web links provide event-specific scanner access and require app installation to function.
  • Web link access is temporary and tied to specific events. Access expires after the event concludes or when revoked by the vendor.
  • Minimal personal data is collected for web link users—only the information necessary to facilitate scanning functionality.
  • Vendors are responsible for distributing web links only to authorized individuals.

Scan Activity & Logging:

  • All ticket scans are logged and attributed to the staff member or web link that performed the scan.
  • Scan logs include: timestamp, ticket scanned, scan result (valid/invalid/already used), and scanner identification.
  • Daily scan counts and activity metrics are visible to vendors for operational monitoring.
  • Scan logs are retained for event reporting, dispute resolution, and audit purposes.

Data Visible to Event Staff:

  • Staff may view attendee names and ticket types only for events they are assigned to and only as necessary to perform check-in duties.
  • Staff do not have access to attendee payment information, contact details, or purchase history.
  • Managers may view event analytics and attendance statistics for their assigned events.
  • Staff access to attendee data is logged and auditable by the vendor and NoNeed.

Group Chat Coordination:

  • Vendors may add external group chat links (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) for event-specific staff coordination.
  • These are external links not hosted or controlled by NoNeed. NoNeed is not responsible for data shared in external chat platforms.
  • Staff should exercise discretion when sharing information in external coordination channels.

Staff Removal & Archive:

  • Vendors may remove or archive staff at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Removal immediately revokes all event access and scanning permissions.
  • Archived staff records are retained for audit, reporting, and dispute resolution purposes.
  • NoNeed reserves the right to suspend or terminate any staff member's access at its sole discretion.

Employment Disclaimer:

NoNeed is not an employer or party to any employment relationship between event organizers and their staff. The staff management feature is a technology tool enabling vendors to grant event access to individuals of their choosing. NoNeed does not hire, supervise, compensate, or perform background checks on event staff. Vendors are solely responsible for compliance with applicable labor laws and for the conduct of individuals they grant access to.

Special requests you provide (including but not limited to dietary restrictions, allergies, celebrations, or accessibility needs) may contain sensitive personal information and are shared with the restaurant to fulfill your reservation. NoNeed does not verify, validate, or guarantee that restaurants will accommodate such requests. You assume full responsibility for communicating critical dietary, medical, or accessibility requirements directly with the restaurant.

Reservation Phone Number Sharing:

Your phone number is not shared with restaurants by default. If you enable the "Allow restaurant to call me" option, you expressly consent to sharing your phone number with the restaurant for reservation-related communication. NoNeed is not responsible for how restaurants use, store, or protect your phone number once shared. You may disable this option at any time for future reservations.

Reservation Payments & Fees:

Reservation payments may include restaurant-set reservation fees and a platform service fee charged by NoNeed. Platform fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to cancellations, no-shows, restaurant closures, service failures, or disputes. Restaurant reservation fees may be refundable subject to the restaurant's cancellation policy and our Refund Policy, at NoNeed's sole discretion. Payments are processed through Stripe and may be held in escrow until reservation completion. NoNeed reserves the right to charge, withhold, or release funds at its sole discretion in accordance with applicable policies and circumstances.

Reservation History & Behavioral Data:

We retain reservation history, cancellations, modifications, and no-show records for service improvement, fraud prevention, platform integrity, and dispute resolution. Repeated no-shows, late cancellations, or policy violations may result in restrictions on your ability to make future reservations, suspension of reservation privileges, or account action, at NoNeed's sole discretion and without prior notice. This data may be retained indefinitely as necessary to protect the platform, vendors, and other users.

Data Shared with Restaurants for Reservations:

To fulfill your reservation, we share your name, party size, reservation details, table preferences, special requests, and any pre-ordered items with the restaurant. Your phone number is shared only with your explicit consent. We do not share your email address, payment information, or complete booking history with restaurants. NoNeed acts solely as an intermediary platform facilitating reservations between users and independent restaurants. NoNeed assumes no liability for restaurant actions, service quality, reservation fulfillment, data handling practices by restaurants, or any damages arising from your dining experience.

Dynamic Pricing & Flash Deals:

Our platform may offer dynamic pricing features including flash deals, time-limited promotions, and variable pricing. The following describes how data is collected and used in connection with these features:

Data Collection for Pricing Features

  • Vendor Pricing Data: Discount configurations, deal schedules, promotional settings, and inventory allocations set by vendors
  • Deal Performance Metrics: Aggregated views, redemptions, conversion rates, and revenue analytics for vendor reporting
  • Consumer Interaction Data: Anonymized and aggregated purchase patterns during promotional periods
  • Timing Data: Deal start/end times, duration, and scheduling preferences

How Pricing Data Is Used:

  • Deal Display: Flash deals and promotions are displayed to consumers with original and discounted prices clearly shown
  • Vendor Analytics: We provide vendors with performance insights including views, conversions, and revenue metrics
  • Platform Optimization: Aggregated, anonymized data may be used to improve promotional features and user experience
  • Future Enhancements: As our platform evolves, we may introduce automated pricing features (such as demand-based adjustments or surge pricing) that utilize aggregated consumer behavior data. Such features, if implemented, will operate on anonymized patterns and will not use individual user data for personalized price targeting

Price Transparency:

  • All promotional prices clearly display both the original price and the discounted price
  • Time remaining and quantity available (where applicable) are shown to consumers
  • Price changes during active transactions are not applied retroactively
  • The final price is confirmed before checkout and payment processing

Vendor Responsibilities & Disclaimers:

  • Vendors are solely responsible for setting accurate pricing, inventory quantities, and promotional terms
  • NoNeed does not guarantee the availability of any promotional offer and deals may expire or sell out without notice
  • NoNeed is not responsible for vendor pricing errors, misrepresentations, or fulfillment failures

  • Platform fees apply to promotional sales as disclosed in vendor agreements

Consumer Rights Regarding Promotional Data:

  • You may opt out of personalized deal recommendations through app settings
  • Your individual purchase behavior is not used to increase prices for you specifically
  • Promotional purchase history is subject to the same retention and deletion policies as standard order data

NoNeed reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any promotional features at any time without prior notice. The availability and terms of dynamic pricing features may vary by region, vendor, or user segment.

Our platform enables vendors to broadcast live video content to showcase their kitchen, menu items, and dining experience. The following describes data collection, moderation policies, and user responsibilities related to live streaming features:

Streaming Hours & Vendor Responsibilities:

  • Live streaming is permitted only during the restaurant's designated operating hours as configured in the vendor's profile
  • The primary account holder (main vendor) is solely responsible for authorizing, supervising, and controlling all live stream broadcasts from their establishment
  • Vendors must ensure all individuals appearing on stream have consented to being broadcast and are legally authorized to work at the establishment
  • Vendors are responsible for the content, conduct, and compliance of all streams originating from their account
  • Streaming outside of operating hours, or unauthorized streaming by staff members, may result in feature suspension or account action at NoNeed's sole discretion

Viewer Conduct & Moderation:

  • Viewers must comply with our Community Guidelines and conduct themselves respectfully during live streams
  • Vendors may mute viewers who engage in disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behavior during their live stream
  • Muting prevents the viewer from sending chat messages but does not prevent them from viewing the stream or placing orders
  • Blocking viewers is not available to vendors; platform-level restrictions are administered solely by NoNeed
  • Repeated violations of conduct policies may result in temporary or permanent restrictions on live stream participation, as determined by NoNeed administration

Reporting & Enforcement:

  • Viewers may report live streams or recorded video content for violations including but not limited to: inappropriate content, harassment, misleading information, food safety concerns, or illegal activity
  • Vendors may report viewer misconduct through the moderation interface
  • All reports are reviewed by NoNeed administration; action is taken only when clear and sufficient evidence of a violation exists
  • NoNeed reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, what constitutes a violation and what enforcement action (if any) is appropriate
  • Enforcement actions may include but are not limited to: warnings, temporary muting, temporary streaming suspension, permanent feature restriction, or account termination
  • NoNeed is not obligated to take action on any report, disclose investigation details, or provide advance notice of enforcement decisions

Content Ownership & Licensing:

  • Vendors retain ownership of their original broadcast content but grant NoNeed a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote streams and clips on the platform
  • NoNeed may retain stream recordings for quality assurance, dispute resolution, and compliance monitoring
  • Viewers do not acquire any rights to record, redistribute, or repurpose vendor stream content without explicit written permission from the vendor

Platform Disclaimers:

  • NoNeed does not pre-screen, monitor in real-time, or endorse the content of vendor live streams
  • Vendors are independently responsible for all content broadcast through their account, including compliance with applicable laws, food safety regulations, and intellectual property rights
  • NoNeed is not liable for any claims, damages, or disputes arising from live stream content, viewer interactions, or enforcement decisions
  • NoNeed reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or modify live streaming features at any time without prior notice

By using live streaming features, vendors and viewers agree to these terms and acknowledge that NoNeed acts solely as a technology platform facilitating live video broadcast. NoNeed assumes no responsibility for the actions, content, or conduct of any party using these features.

Staff Management & Team Accounts:

NoNeed enables vendors to invite individuals to assist with restaurant operations through designated staff roles. This section describes data collection, account linking, permissions, earnings, and the relationship between vendors, staff, and NoNeed.

Staff Invitation & Data Collection

  • Phone Number Lookup: Vendors may search for existing NoNeed users by phone number to send staff invitations. Only users with registered accounts can be invited.
  • Invitation Data: Staff name, phone number, assigned role (Chef, Manager, or Waitress), and custom permissions are collected when creating invitations.
  • Invitation Delivery: Staff invitations are delivered through the Team Hub on the recipient's welcome page. Recipients must accept or decline within the invitation validity period.
  • Invitation Expiry: Pending invitations expire automatically after a set period. Expired invitations are retained for audit purposes.

Account Linking & Dual Roles:

  • Staff accounts are linked to existing NoNeed user accounts. The same individual may simultaneously hold a buyer account and one or more staff positions with different vendors.
  • Staff access is granted through the same authentication credentials as the user's personal account. NoNeed does not create separate login credentials for staff roles.
  • Activity performed in a staff capacity (order management, live streaming, etc.) is associated with the staff role and may be visible to the vendor. Personal buyer activity remains separate and is not shared with vendors where the user serves as staff.
  • Users may hold staff positions at multiple vendors simultaneously, subject to each vendor's approval and any role limitations.

Staff Roles & Permissions:

  • Chef (max 2 per vendor): May conduct live streams, accept orders during broadcast, and receive personal gift earnings from viewers. Chefs represent themselves while associated with the vendor's establishment.
  • General Manager (max 1 per vendor): Full dashboard access to vendor operations. When a Manager conducts a live stream, they do so on behalf of the restaurant—all gifts received during Manager-hosted streams are attributed to the restaurant, not the individual.
  • Waitress (unlimited): Available for reservation assignments. May be granted optional Order Management permissions to view and manage specific order categories (Pending, Active, Delivery, Complete) as configured by the vendor.
  • Vendors may modify staff permissions at any time. Permission changes take effect immediately without prior notice to the staff member.

Data Visible to Vendors About Staff:

  • Name, phone number, role, status (active/inactive), and assigned permissions
  • Invitation history (sent date, acceptance/decline status, expiry)
  • Activity logs related to staff duties (orders managed, streams conducted, reservations handled)
  • Vendors do not have access to staff members' personal buyer activity, payment methods, personal order history, or private account information

Data Visible to Staff:

  • Staff may view customer order information, reservation details, and operational data only as necessary to perform their assigned duties and within the scope of their granted permissions
  • Staff access to customer data is logged and auditable by the vendor and NoNeed
  • Staff must not use customer information obtained through their role for any purpose outside of their designated duties

Gift Earnings & Payouts:

  • Personal Gift Recipients: Only the main vendor account holder and designated Chefs may receive and retain personal gift earnings from live stream viewers.
  • Manager Streams: When a Manager conducts a live stream, any gifts received are attributed to the restaurant/vendor account, not to the Manager personally. Managers do not accumulate personal gift earnings.
  • Viewing Earnings: Chefs may view their accumulated gift earnings in the Earn section of their account screen.
  • Stripe Connect Requirement: Before withdrawing funds, eligible recipients must configure a Stripe Connect account. NoNeed facilitates payouts through Stripe but does not guarantee payout timing, availability, or amounts.
  • Tax Responsibility: Gift recipients are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from their earnings. NoNeed may issue tax documentation as required by law but does not provide tax advice.

Staff Removal & Access Termination:

  • Vendors may remove any staff member at any time, for any reason or no reason, without prior notice. Removal immediately revokes all staff permissions and dashboard access.
  • Staff members may voluntarily resign from their position at any time through their account settings.
  • NoNeed reserves the right to suspend or terminate any staff member's access at its sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of policy violations, suspicious activity, or platform integrity concerns.
  • Upon removal or resignation, staff records are retained for audit, dispute resolution, and compliance purposes as described in our data retention schedule.

Employment Relationship Disclaimer:

NoNeed is not an employer, staffing agency, or party to any employment relationship. The staff management feature is a technology tool enabling vendors to grant platform access to individuals of their choosing. Any employment, contractor, or working relationship exists solely between the vendor and the staff member. NoNeed:

  • Does not hire, employ, supervise, or control staff members
  • Does not set wages, schedules, work conditions, or employment terms
  • Does not perform background checks, employment verification, or credential validation on staff members
  • Does not guarantee payment, wages, tips, or compensation from vendors to staff
  • Is not responsible for workplace disputes, wage claims, discrimination, harassment, or any employment-related matters
  • Does not provide workers' compensation, insurance, benefits, or employment protections

Vendors are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable labor laws, employment regulations, tax withholding, and workplace requirements in their jurisdiction. Staff members should consult with the vendor directly regarding compensation, work terms, and employment classification.

Staff Data Retention:

  • Active Staff Records: Retained for duration of staff relationship plus 2 years after removal/resignation
  • Invitation History: 1 year after expiry or response
  • Staff Activity Logs: 2 years after the activity date
  • Gift/Earnings Records: 7 years (tax compliance)
  • Payout Records: 7 years (financial compliance)

By accepting a staff invitation or inviting staff members, all parties acknowledge that NoNeed acts solely as a technology platform facilitating operational access. NoNeed assumes no liability for the actions, conduct, performance, or disputes between vendors and staff members, nor for any claims arising from the staff relationship.

8.4 Creator Earnings & Monetization Program Privacy

This Section 8.4 describes the personal information NoNeed collects, processes, stores, and shares in connection with the Creator Earnings & Referral Commission Program ("Creator Program") described in Section 15A of our Terms of Service. Participation in the Creator Program is voluntary; by enrolling, publishing a Tagged Post, accepting any commission, or initiating any payout, you consent to the data practices described in this Section in addition to all other applicable provisions of this Privacy Policy.

Information Collected for the Creator Program:

  • Identity & KYC Data: Legal full name, date of birth, gender (where required by payout provider), nationality, government-issued identification (national ID, passport, or driver's license), photograph or selfie for liveness verification, and residential address
  • Tax Identification: Taxpayer identification number applicable to your jurisdiction (e.g., U.S. Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number; Côte d'Ivoire Numéro de Compte Contribuable; or equivalent), business registration number (if applicable), and tax classification
  • Payout Account Information: Bank account details (account number, routing/SWIFT/BIC code, IBAN), mobile money number, debit card details (where supported), and the legal account holder's name; collected and validated by our third-party payment providers (Stripe and Paystack) and not stored in full by NoNeed
  • Business & Professional Information: Business name (if Creator operates as a registered entity), business address, website or social media handles you choose to associate with your Creator profile
  • Earnings Ledger: Records of every commission attributed to you, including the originating Tagged Post, vendor, order identifier, order subtotal, applied commission rate, gross commission amount, vesting status (pending / available / forfeited / paid), timestamps, and the related order completion or cancellation event
  • Payout History: Records of every withdrawal request, including amount, currency, destination account reference, status (processing / paid / failed), provider transfer identifier, fees applied, and timestamps
  • Live Streaming & Gift Earnings Data: Records of virtual gifts received during live streams, sender identifiers, gift type and value, conversion to Creator earnings, and any chargeback or reversal events
  • Tier & Eligibility Signals: Verified follower counts at the time of each transaction, account standing, content moderation history, and any signals used to determine eligibility for the Creator Program or specific commission tiers
  • Anti-Fraud & Risk Data: Device identifiers, IP addresses, behavioral signals, payment instrument fingerprints, and links between accounts used by NoNeed and its providers to detect collusion, self-orders, account farming, and other prohibited conduct described in Section 15A.8

How We Use Creator Program Information:

  • Identity verification: To confirm you are who you claim to be and to comply with anti-money-laundering ("AML") and know-your-customer ("KYC") obligations imposed on us and our payment providers
  • Eligibility determination: To assess whether you qualify for the Creator Program, for live-streaming features, and for specific commission tiers
  • Commission calculation and settlement: To attribute referrals, compute commissions, vest or forfeit pending balances based on order outcomes, and maintain a complete and auditable earnings ledger
  • Payout processing: To transfer earnings to your designated payout account through Stripe Connect Express, Paystack, or any other payment provider we engage
  • Tax compliance & reporting: To generate, file, and deliver tax forms (such as IRS Form 1099-K or 1099-NEC in the United States once applicable thresholds are met, or equivalent forms in other jurisdictions), and to report Creator income to tax authorities where legally required
  • Fraud detection & enforcement: To investigate suspected violations of Section 15A, freeze or claw back earnings, suspend or terminate accounts, and protect the Company, vendors, buyers, and other Creators from abuse
  • Customer support: To respond to earnings disputes, payout failures, KYC re-verification requests, and similar inquiries
  • Internal analytics: To monitor program performance, set commission rates, design promotional campaigns, and improve the Creator Program — using anonymized or aggregated data wherever possible
  • Legal & regulatory compliance: To respond to subpoenas, court orders, regulatory requests, and other lawful demands

Third Parties With Whom We Share Creator Program Information:

  • Stripe, Inc. (and its affiliates, including Stripe Payments Europe Ltd): For Creators in the United States and other Stripe-supported jurisdictions, all KYC, tax, and payout-account data is collected and processed by Stripe under the Stripe Connect Express service. Stripe acts as an independent data controller for this information. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy and the Stripe Connected Account Agreement
  • Paystack (a Stripe company): For Creators in Côte d'Ivoire, Nigeria, and other Paystack-supported African markets, payout-account data is collected and processed by Paystack under its Merchant or Transfer Recipient services. Paystack's privacy practices are governed by the Paystack Privacy Policy
  • Tax authorities: We share Creator income, identity, and tax-form data with tax authorities (such as the U.S. Internal Revenue Service or the Direction Générale des Impôts of Côte d'Ivoire) where legally required, and with state, provincial, or municipal authorities as applicable
  • Banking and money-transmission partners: Banks, mobile-money operators, and correspondent institutions involved in routing your payouts
  • Identity verification & fraud prevention vendors: Third-party services used by NoNeed or its payment providers to verify identity documents, detect synthetic identities, screen against sanctions and politically-exposed-persons lists, and assess transaction risk
  • Auditors, legal counsel, and accountants: Where reasonably necessary to operate the Company and the Creator Program
  • Law enforcement and regulators: When compelled by valid legal process, when necessary to investigate suspected fraud or other unlawful activity, or where we determine in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of NoNeed, our users, or the public
  • Acquirers or successors: In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, Creator Program data may be transferred to the acquiring or successor entity, subject to this Privacy Policy

Visibility of Creator Earnings Data:

  • Private to the Creator: Your individual earnings ledger, payout history, KYC documents, tax-form data, bank-account details, and exact commission amounts are visible only to you (within the in-app Creator Earnings interface), to authorized NoNeed personnel with a legitimate need to access them, and to the third parties enumerated above
  • Aggregated or anonymized for marketing: NoNeed may publish leaderboards, success-story testimonials, average-earnings figures, or similar marketing materials. Where such materials reference an identifiable Creator, we obtain that Creator's consent in advance; otherwise, data is aggregated or anonymized so that no individual Creator can be identified
  • Visible to vendors: Tagged vendors may see that a referral was attributed to a specific Creator profile (display name, avatar, follower count, and post link), but do not see the Creator's KYC data, bank details, or other Creators' earnings
  • Visible to viewers (live streaming): Public information you choose to display on your Creator profile (display name, avatar, bio, follower count, content) is visible to all viewers; gift-related earnings amounts are not displayed to viewers individually

Retention of Creator Program Data:

  • KYC and identity documents: Retained for the duration of your participation in the Creator Program plus a minimum of seven (7) years following the last payout, in accordance with AML/KYC record-keeping obligations applicable to NoNeed and its payment providers; longer where required by law
  • Earnings ledger and payout records: Retained for a minimum of seven (7) years following the relevant transaction, as required for tax, accounting, and audit purposes; longer where required by law or where necessary to defend, exercise, or establish legal claims
  • Tax forms (1099, equivalents): Retained for the period required by the relevant tax authority, typically four (4) to seven (7) years
  • Anti-fraud signals: Retained for as long as necessary to investigate, prevent, and prosecute fraud and abuse — typically the life of the account plus an additional retention window for forensic review
  • Aggregated and anonymized data: May be retained indefinitely
  • Termination of participation: If you withdraw from the Creator Program, request account deletion, or are removed by NoNeed, KYC, financial, and tax-related records will be retained for the periods stated above notwithstanding any deletion request, to the extent required by law

Your Rights as a Creator:

  • Access: View your earnings ledger, payout history, and tier status at any time via the in-app Creator Earnings interface
  • Correction: Request correction of your KYC, tax, or payout-account information; updates to bank-account or tax-classification data are subject to re-verification by our payment providers
  • Tax form copies: Request copies of any tax forms NoNeed has issued in your name
  • Erasure (subject to legal retention): Request deletion of personal Creator Program data; we will honor such requests except where data must be retained for tax, financial, AML, dispute, or other legal compliance purposes
  • Withdrawal of consent / opt-out: You may withdraw from the Creator Program at any time by ceasing to publish Tagged Posts and refraining from initiating new payouts; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing already performed and does not extinguish records that NoNeed is required to retain
  • Portability: Request a machine-readable export of your earnings ledger and payout history
  • Complaints: If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, contact us using the details in Section 18; you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your jurisdiction

NoNeed is not a bank, money transmitter, or licensed payment institution. All Creator payouts are executed by Stripe, Paystack, or other licensed third-party financial institutions, each of which acts as an independent data controller for the personal information it processes. NoNeed makes no warranty regarding the privacy or security practices of these third parties, and Creators are encouraged to review their privacy policies before enrolling in the Creator Program.
